Step 8 of 9 · Core Curriculum
Reflection & Confidence Calibration
Reflective practice closes the loop between seeing, reasoning, and accuracy — and surfaces the patterns each learner most often misses.
Learning focus
- After each exercise, identify what was missed or misinterpreted.
- Compare stated confidence against actual accuracy.
- Notice recurring blind spots across compartments, stains, and patterns.
- Set the next deliberate-practice target.
Reflection prompts
- “What did I miss or misinterpret?”
- “What visual feature would have changed my answer?”
- “Was my confidence well-calibrated to my accuracy?”
- “What will I practice next?”
Reflections, confidence ratings, and accuracy will be surfaced together in the learner and educator dashboards in the next build phase.
